Well we must be popular, or lucky, or something?  We are really excited to present such an AMAZING line-up of speakers for Rocky Mountain Flash Camp 2010.

  • Barbara Binder, Rocky Mountain Training
    is the owner of Rocky Mountain Training and Adobe Certified Instructor since 1997. She is an Adobe Design Specialist, and an Adobe Certified Instructor on FrameMaker, InDesign, InCopy, Photoshop and Acrobat X.Barb started in the publishing field in 1986 with Pagemaker’s first release for Windows. She has been delivering corporate training since 1987, mostly in the Washington, D.C area. She moved to the foothills west of Denver to escape the congestion and the craziness of life “inside the Beltway” in 2005. (Access to the fabulous skiing and living the outdoor life may have had a little something to do with the move, too.) In 2007, Adobe Systems, Inc. recognized Barbara Binder of Rocky Mountain Training as one of the Top Five Most Highly-Rated Adobe Certified Instructors, Worldwide.   • Rufus Deuchler, Adobe
    Senior worldwide design evangelist at Adobe Systems with an affinity for creative technology, Rufus Deuchler has established himself as a leader in a very specialized area. With a background in corporate and editorial design, he brings more than 15 years of hands-on experience using Adobe Creative Suite software to the creative table. In addition, Rufus delivers comprehensive training programs to audiences large and small across the globe and teaches graphic design. He is an expert in creative workflows based on Adobe solutions.   • David Hassoun, RealEyes Media
    is the founder of RealEyes, a digital media firm focused on interactive motion media and advanced Flash/Flex platform applications. David has a passion for RIA, the power of video, and the challenges of usability and interactivity. David is an Adobe Certified Master Instructor, teaches advanced RIA classes at the University of Denver, serves as the Rocky Mountain Adobe User Group, and the Flash Media Server User Group Manager, and has developed advanced Flash/Flex application courses. As a consultant or while leading RealEyes he has worked for a wide range of companies such as American Express, Chase Manhattan, Qwest, Boeing, Macromedia, Adobe, US Air Force, Bechtel/Bettis, Beatport, and many more.   • Jun Heider, RealEyes Media
    is an Adobe Certified Professional, Adobe Certified Instructor, and a Flex 4 ACE. As the Sr. Architect and Development Manager at RealEyes Media in Denver, CO, you can find Jun working with his team to create clean, efficient, cutting edge Flash Platform applications. Jun also co-teaches Adobe Flex development at the University of Denver, University College. Jun loves to write and speak at conferences: Adobe MAX, 360|Flex, FATC, eLearningDevcon, CFUnited, Adobe Devnet, O’Reilly Inside RIA, and co-author of Professional Adobe Flex 3 by Wrox.   • Jason Levine, Adobe
    is the Principal Worldwide Creative Suite Evangelist, Video & Audio Tools for Adobe, travels the globe educating and promoting Adobe Creative Suite Production Premium. Levine has conducted training/workflow sessions for some of the top broadcast corporations in Europe and Asia including BBC, RTL and SVT.Prior to Adobe, Jason was a full-time recording engineer working in studios coast-to-coast, engineering hundreds of recordings in a multitude of genres, prompting the formation of BoodahJooMusic Publishing.   • RJ Owen, EffectiveUI
    is a Senior Software Architect at EffectiveUI specializing in user interface development. Coming from a highly diverse technological background, RJ has worked in application technologies like C++ and Java, as well as web technologies like HTML5 and Flex. In the past five years RJ has spoken about development best practices 8 times around the US and trained clients in how to teach developers design in between doing real coding.   • Greg Rewis, Adobe
    is the Principal Evangelist for Adobe Systems, focusing on Adobe’s open web products and technologies such as HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript. With over 20 years of computer industry experience, Greg spends in excess of 200 days of the year on the road, talking with customers, giving product demonstrations at seminars, and speaking at industry conferences. Greg has been passionate about the web since putting his first “home page” online in 1994. His career has taken him around the world, from the early days of desktop publishing, to a start-up in Hamburg, Germany, the glory days of the web at Macromedia and finally his current role at Adobe. The original GoLive Cyberstudio Product Manager and former Dreamweaver Technical Product Manager, Greg is the co-author of “Mastering CSS with Dreamweaver CS3″ and “Mastering CSS with Dreamweaver CS4″ published by New Riders, as well as a regular contributor to industry publications.   • Michael Salamon, EffectiveUI
    is a lead experience architect at EffectiveUI, an award-winning and recognized leader in the design and development of custom desktop, mobile and rich Internet applications. With more than 20 years’ experience, Michael’s work spans print, Web, mobile, interactive, motion, illustration and animation. With a thorough history in the printing industry, Michael made the move to the Web with the rest of the chunky-black-glasses crowd and helped define interaction methods still used today. His clients have ranged from huge multi-national companies to modest one-person shops, including: Qwest, Quark, Intuit, Cendant (CheapTickets), JCPenney, Home Depot, Cabela’s, Dish Network, Staz, Ci-Ci’s Pizza and Northrop Grumman.   • Paul Trani, Adobe
    is a widely recognized speaker and 15-year veteran of the interactive design and development scene. Paul currently works as an Adobe Developer Evangelist, traveling the world, seeking out every opportunity to make life easier for designers and developers, using Adobe tools of course. Paul focuses on showing designers and developers how to use Flash and HTML5 to be more productive and produce award-winning interactive content across dekstop, browser and mobile devices. In addition to his work as an evangelist, Paul has been an Adobe Certified Instructor for over a decade and has developed courseware since the “Macromedia” days. A prolific trainer, Paul has earned “top author” status at Lynda.com with seven best-selling titles, and has created a constant stream of content for AdobeTV as well as for his own show, “Flash CS5: Training with Trani.” When he’s not creating video content for others you can find tutorials on his own site www.designupdate.com.   • Dan Warvi, Toolfarm
    is a freelance Broadcast Designer and Producer who lives in Denver Highlands. He previously worked at KUSA 9News in the Promotions Dept, where he wrote, produced, did graphics, and editing both video and audio spots for on-air promotions and commercial clients. Prior to that, he worked for Fox Cable Networks and Fox Family Channel in Los Angeles. Dan has been using Adobe After Effects since it was version 2.0 (CoSA After Effects, where it fit on two 800K discs) and has spoken about the application at NAB, DV Expo, ProMax/BDA, and Rocky Mountain VidExpo. He has won four Emmys in the Heartland Region, in the Best Graphics, Best Spot Promotion and Best PSA categories. He is currently typing this Bio with his cats Charlie and Ziggy camped on his keyboard and Wacom tablet.
